    High-Capacity Automatic Fire Protection Unit

    The MAUS Stixx PRO 10 offers powerful, automatic fire suppression for any enclosed volume up to 1 m³. As soon as temperatures reach 170 °C, its built-in heat detector releases a patented, space-inspired potassium aerosol to absorb heat, neutralise key flame radicals (hydrogen, oxygen, hydroxyl) and extinguish nascent fires instantly. No manual intervention, no delay.

    Practical clean-up after a discharge

    1. Make it safe. Isolate power, and find and fix the cause of the fault before re-energising.
    2. Ventilate and wait. Give the aerosol time to settle before opening the enclosure fully. Avoid breathing the dust, and use a P2 mask if there’s any visible cloud or soot.
    3. Dry clean only. Use an anti-static brush, an ESD-safe vacuum, or low-pressure dry air, then a dry lint-free cloth. Don’t wash it down with water.
    4. Pay attention to terminals and contacts, especially in humid or marine settings. An electronics contact cleaner (isopropyl-based) is fine for stubborn film.
    5. Replace the unit. It’s single-use; once activated, the unit must be replaced. The spent shell can be disposed of as general waste or recycled.
    6. Have it inspected. If it’s someone else’s property, get a qualified electrician to check the board for fire damage.
