    Respirator Fit Testing

    OUR SERVICES

    pH7 provides hazchem services that help New Zealand businesses comply with hazardous substance and dangerous goods requirements. Our team supports the safe storage, handling and emergency spill response of hazardous substances in the workplace.

    Hazardous substances, including dangerous goods (DG), are governed by the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017. WorkSafe enforces these regulations, and local councils set requirements for stormwater and land use. Together, they cover safe storage and containment, emergency response, and regular testing of safety equipment.

    Our services include site risk assessments, respirator fit testing, emergency shower and eyewash testing, chemical glove selection reports, and onsite toolbox training. They are available directly from pH7 or through our distributor partners.

    Prices shown are RRP and exclude GST. They apply to Northland (as far north as Kerikeri), Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury. For services outside these regions, contact us to confirm travel costs and availability.

    RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING

    Quantitative respirator fit testing for reusable half and full face masks, as required under AS/NZS 1715. Available at our Auckland office or onsite. Staff who pass receive a certificate valid for 12 months.

    EMERGENCY SHOWER & EYEWASH TESTING

    Annual emergency shower and eyewash station testing to AS 4775. Our experts test each unit onsite and provide a report with pass or fail results and recommendations for every station.

    SITE RISK ASSESSMENT

    An onsite hazardous substances site risk assessment by pH7 specialists. We audit DG storage, signage, spill response, PPE and stormwater protection, then provide a zone by zone report with clear actions.

    HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE COMPLIANCE SELF-ASSESSMENT

    A free online hazardous substance compliance check for New Zealand workplaces. Answer 52 questions in about 20 minutes and get an instant report showing the gaps in your operation.

    ANSELL GUARDIAN CHEMICAL PERMEATION REPORT

    Free chemical glove selection and coverall recommendations based on your SDS data. As New Zealand’s approved Ansell supplier, pH7 uses the Guardian tool to show which PPE resists your chemicals, and for how long.

    TOOLBOX TRAINING SESSIONS

    Onsite toolbox talks and safety training in 30 minute sessions. Topics include spill response, hand, body and respiratory protection, and safety showers, with product demos and practical compliance advice.
