We are in constant contact with our suppliers to obtain up to the minute feedback on product availability, opportunities to access products and price changes.
Below is an update on where we are at with the following product ranges:
- Coveralls:
- A small amount of Ansell AlphaTec 1500 and 2000 coveralls have arrived and we will be filling back orders based on a first in first out basis. Before shipping we will be contacting customers to confirm the order and new pricing.
- We have a large amount of SureShield SS150 and SS200 coveralls arriving from mid-September. Based on current forecasts we expect to have sufficient stock to fulfil all back orders and have stock available for new orders.
- Disposable Gloves:
- Currently out of stock until end of October 2020.
- Our manufacturer has indicated that 2XL sizing will not be available in future as worldwide demand for this size is very small.
- All nitrile gloves are reducing in weight from 5g to 4g to keep pricing down.
- Pricing is still inflated by approximately 3x and we won’t be able to confirm the exact price of our next shipment, until just prior to manufacturing in September.
- We will temporarily be dropping Blue Low Powder and Powder Free Nitrile Gloves. Black Dragon Powder Free Nitrile gloves in sizes S to XL will be available from Late October.
- High risk latex and standard latex gloves will also be available from late October.
- Disposable Apparel:
- PE products are generally available, albeit at slightly inflated prices due to higher labour costs.
- Non-woven disposables are still costing approximately 3x the pre-COVID price and supply disruption continues.
- ph7 International has managed to source some alternative supplies of selected products but the environment is changing constantly. We recommend you call us to see what’s available and the current pricing.
- Cooling Vests:
- This month we are launching our own brand “Antarctech” phase change cooling vests. These are designed to be worn under chemical coveralls and help keep workers cool for 2-4 hours. Phase change packs can easily be recharged in the fridge or freezer. Ideal for anyone needing to wear a hot chemical suit.
- Spill Response:
- Excellent stocks of UltraZorb and SpillFix in stock.
- New pallet price available on ABPR25 – UltraZorb 50L Compressed Bails.
- New stock of Polypropylene absorbents arrives on 10 August.
- Mediwipes:
- Long delays in supply still with stock not available until beginning of October. Customers will be contacted to confirm orders before dispatch.
- Hand Sanitiser:
- Handplus Instant Hand Sanitising Gel has been discontinued as minimum order quantities have be raised to level that is no longer commercially viable.
- Respiratory Protection:
- Excellent stocks of Shigematsu Respiratory Protection in stock.
- Disposable masks (N95 / KN95 / FFP2 etc) are difficult to come buy currently and we are out of stock.
- Emergency Showers and Eyewashes:
- Have just received another large shipment of Tobin eyewashes – Best saline eyewash system in the world (IMHO).
- Excellent stocks of Guardian Safety showers in stock.
