What’s happening?
We’re moving to brand-new, purpose-built warehouse and office building in Highbrook on the 30th of September 2022.
The new address:
4 Tāwharau Lane, East Tamaki, Auckland, 2013. The address is brand new so may not come up on your mapping software for a few weeks. To access our new site, turn off Business Parade North, onto Tāwharau Lane, following the lane to the bottom and we’re the last building on the right-hand side. There’s customer parking out front.
The moving time frame:
Dates | Operations |
1 – 23 September: | Operating normally out of our current location in Wiri. (Some excess stock will be moving off-site in preparation for our move) |
26 – 28 September: | Operating restricted service out of our current location. No assembly order of spill kits or respiratory kits will be processed until the beginning of October. |
29 – 30 September: | CLOSED. Office and warehouse will be closed on the Thursday and Friday as we move locations. Limited staff available to take messages during this time. |
3 -14 October: | Warehouse will be operating out of new location, office staff working from home while office construction is completed. |
16 October onwards:
| Operating both the office and warehouse from our new location. Customer pickups will be available from the door to the left of reception and staff will be available to meet on site. |
The new building:
We’re incredibly proud of the new building we’re moving into. Not only does it offer a 250% increase in pallet space which will give us plenty of room for growth, but it is also on track to be the first 6-Star, Green Star industrial building in the country.
Goodman and their building partners have pulled out all the stops to create an industrial building that uses low carbon materials, incorporates loads of features to offset running costs and increase user comfort with minimal energy requirements. Any carbon emission that cannot be eliminated are offset using carbon credits. You can find out more about Goodman’s commitment to sustainability here.
Some of the features you’ll notice at our new site include:
- Solar panels on the roof
- Low-E double glazing in the offices
- EV charging points
- Movement sensor lighting in the warehouse
What can you do to help?
- Get your orders in early during September.
- If you have the storage space, order enough to get you through the start of October.
- Try to minimise pickups in the last week of September at the old location and the first week of October at the new location.
- Call us to make an appointment if you want to speak to anyone. All office staff will be working from home from the 3rd to 14th of October.
Customer pickups at the new location:
We have created a dedicated customer pick up area to avoid congestion in the yard, which will be reserved for inwards goods delivery and courier collection. The customer collection door will be to the left of the main entrance to the office. If will be clearly marked and two car park spaces will be available outside the door. To collect orders, simply ring the bell and enter through the marked door.
Will there be an official opening?
Absolutely, we’re planning on having an official opening of the site towards the end of the year once all three buildings in the development have been completed and landscaping has been done. We’ll notify invited guests closer to the time.
