23 March 2020,
ph7 International Continuing to Provide Essential Services
With the announcement today that the country is now in level 3 and will transition to level 4 in the next 48 hours I would like to set out how we will be operating over the coming period.
Firstly, our company supplies safety equipment to many essential services such as food production, frontline emergency service workers, construction workers, and the health sector. As such it is vital that we continue to operate as best we can be ensuring the necessary product gets to these essential users.
However, we are making substantial changes to the way in which we operate. From Tuesday the 24th of March 2020 all office staff will be working from home except for Maureen John and Darryl Burn. Two warehouse staff Jeremy Gumaka and Eric Uy will also remain to ensure shipments continue to go out.
Our focus will be on continuity of supply of essential products to support people working in essential services including, surgical face masks, disposable gloves, disposable clothing, chemical protective apparel and respiratory protection.
No customer pick-ups will be permitted from Tuesday the 24th March 2020. All sales and support staff will be available on their mobile phones which you can find online.
This situation will remain in place until further notice.
Please note the Government has announced there will be funds available to businesses to keep operating throughout this period. We are undertaking to pay our suppliers to keep essential services going. We ask that our customers make the same undertaking to us and settle their accounts in a timely manner so we can all get through this situation intact.
Yours sincerely
Darryl Burn
