pH7 – Safety From Hazardous Substances
At Dalton International Ltd, trading as pH7, we’re committed to preventing harm from hazardous substances to people and the environment. We do this because want to make a difference and improve the appalling workplace health statistics that exist in New Zealand.
- 750-900 die each year due to workplace disease
- You’re 15 times more likely to die from a workplace disease than you are from a workplace accident
- 30,000 cases of serious ill health annually
- Countless spills of hazardous substances into our land and water
We supply market leading safety solution that addresses the following areas:
HAZCHEM Storage – Safely storing your hazardous substances on spill pallets in dangerous goods cabinets, or in portable bunds is often the first step to avoid accidents
HAZCHEM PPE – Personal protective equipment that is specific to the hazardous substances you’re working with is essential to keep yourself and your team safe. We represent some of world’s leading PPE manufacturers in respiratory protection, chemical and gas tight suits, gloves and more.
HAZCHEM Response – When accidents happen you need to be prepared. We have an extensive range of spill response equipment to handle small spills right up to large scale marine spills as well as emergency showers and eyewashes for industrial sites, laboratories, and schools.
HAZCHEM Signage – Advising people of the dangers onsite and what you need to do in an emergency is a requirement of the Hazardous Substance Regulations. We can help advise and manufacture the signage you need to be compliant and protect your people.
HAZCHEM Services – We offer a range of services for anyone working with hazardous substances including respiratory fit testing, emergency shower and eyewash annual checks, site risk reports, drive over bund installation, training and more.

OUR HISTORY
While pH7 may be a new name to most people, our company has been around since 1998 when it launched as Dalton International Ltd. Over the years we have transitioned from a general safety importer and wholesaler’s to a specialist in hazardous substance safety solutions. In April 2022, we changed our trading name and branding to pH7 to better reflect our focus in the market. If you’re interested, you can watch a video below on why we changed our brand and some other exciting changes we have planned for 2022.
