DESCRIPTION

High performance protection for lithium ion battery charging environments. The Lithium Ion Battery Charging Drawer is engineered to reduce fire risk when charging, storing, or cycling lithium ion batteries on site. Built to EN 14470 1 with 90 minutes of certified fire resistance and tested against the thermal runaway conditions outlined in VDMA 24994, this drawer provides controlled containment when batteries fail, ignite, or overheat.

The long duration fire resistance rating helps maintain structural integrity and reduce heat transfer for up to 90 minutes. This provides ample escape time for building occupants, supports orderly emergency response, and limits the chances of fire spreading to other areas of the facility.

Each drawer compartment includes steel perforated shelving for improved heat dissipation, integrated smoke detection with LED status indication, and industrial grade PDU outlets to support simultaneous charging. Fire resistant cable entry ports maintain a sealed environment, ensuring any internal incident is isolated and cannot spread beyond the drawer.

For sites managing large amounts of lithium ion battery powered tools and equipment, this drawer supports HSWA risk management obligations while protecting people, property, and assets.
