DESCRIPTION

Reliable protection for lithium ion battery charging operations. The Lithium Ion Battery Charging Cabinet provides a controlled and compliant environment for charging and storing lithium ion batteries in industrial, laboratory, and commercial settings.

Constructed to meet the requirements of EN 14470-1 and designed with reference to VDMA 24994, the cabinet maintains structural integrity and limits heat transfer for up to 90 minutes. This extended resistance rating supports safe evacuation, helps emergency teams initiate response, and reduces the likelihood of fire spreading beyond the source.

The cabinet includes integrated smoke detection and automatic power cut off to stop charging in the event of early fire indicators. These layers of protection reduce the risk of thermal runaway during multi device charging. Perforated steel shelves promote consistent airflow and heat dissipation, while industrial grade PDU sockets support organised power management within the cabinet. Internal and external fire protection features limit the escalation of battery related incidents and help businesses meet their HSWA obligations regarding hazardous energy management.
